Met Ball is the Oscars of fashion. Started in 1946, the Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. This stunning event is glamorously held in New York city and marks the opening of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibit. The theme of the exhibit sets the tone for the formal outfit in which the guests are expected to attend the gala.
This year’s theme was China: Through the Looking Glass. Many attendees paid tribute to the oriental theme by showcasing a number of Chinese designers and gorgeous creations from the most renowned fashion houses across the globe.
