Vidyut Jammwal, Tisca Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur are on a mission to make men think and respect women.
They were here to urge Amdavadi men to “stand up for women” as part of a growing campaign. And when it comes from good lookers like Vidyut Jammwal, Aditya Roy Kapur and Tisca Chopra, you want to listen to them. The trio spoke of instances where men have stood up for women.
So who’s her ideal man? Tisca defined hers as strong, protective and respectful towards women. “I think the recent crimes have put men in a confused state. The message is to make men think and not be a bystander but a standby!” she said. Vidyut Jammwal respects women and had no qualms expressing it either. “I won’t be able to stop myself if I see a woman being harassed. I may even beat up the person,” he said. However, Vidyut also believes most men are helpful and respect women.
He’s the flavour of the season! Basking in the success of his recent film Aashiqui 2, Aditya Roy Kapur feels that it is one’s upbringing that matters the most. “If efforts are made at the grassroot level, it will definitely make a difference.” Now, when actors are in town, how can one not ask about films. While Aditya said he’s busy with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”, the pretty Tisca has “wrapped up shooting for Qissa with Irrfan”. She will also star in Ankur Arora Murder Case and Rahasya.
On the other hand, a martial arts academy in Kerala will keep Vidyut busy besides shooting for Bullet Raja. “We will also start shooting for Commando 2 (sequel to his recently released action flick Commando) soon,” he signed off.
