Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi was in the city on Sunday to help Amdavadis learn new dishes in a workshop at a city hotel. Sokhi, who hosts a cookery show on a food channel, said that kiwi is the fruit of the season and it’s exciting to experiment with it. Talking to AM, Sokhi believes  that being vegetarian here is exciting. “Gujarat is one state where people like to eat a variety of vegetables and that’s exciting for me. I also love Gujarati food.” The chef added, “People are moving towards Mediterranean food. Even Spanish cuisine is visible now.”
